Flower are the most beautiful things of the nature. They are most important part of plants because it act as a reproductive system of plants. They attract the insect and animals with their pleasant smile and colourful petal to spread pollen. They more than 250000 flowering plant in which am going talk about most rarest flowers, which are very different from others and they look very stunning but sad that we can see them because they are vey rare. They are endanger due to deforestation, lack of natural pollinators etc.
RAFFLESIA ARNOLDII
Rafflesia is one of the national flower of Indonesia where it is known as puspa langka or padma pakasa. It can be found in southeast Asia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines. It is also knowns as corpse flower or meat flower and plant with no stems, leaves, and roots. Rafflesia is a parasitic plant it attaches itself to a host plant to obtain water and nutrient and it doesn’t cause harm to host plant. The main body plant is reside inside the host plant the visible part of plant is flower. The flower smell like a dead animal, which attract flies. Flies ,which normally lay their eggs on rotten flesh, pollinate the rafflesia when they get inside. The plant cannot do the photosynthesis because it does not contain chlorophyll. It takes 9 to 21 months to grow and bud a flower and last for a few weeks.
KADUPUL (THE MYSTIC QUEEN OF THE NIGHT)
It is the most expensive flower in the world . The scientific name of the flower is Epiphyllum oxypetalum is species of cactus is the most cultivated species. Other names of this flower are “FLOWER FROM THE HEAVEN”, “THE QUEEN OF THE NIGHT”, “DUTCHMAN’S PIPE” ,“BEAUTY OF THE MOON”. Flower starts blooming between 10pm to 11pm and continue to bloom for about two hours. Soon after is full bloom the flower starts to fade and completely wilt before dawn. During blooming flower emit sweet lovely fragrance. We cannot buy these flower because it often dies when picked up. In india it is knowns Brahma kamalam, named after the hindu god of creation, lord brahma. Kadupul flower is the legendary flower of the Celestial nagas(snake gods). It is believed that when these flowers bloom, the nagas come down from their heavenly homes to present florae to the Buddha on the Holy Mountain of sri pada.
GHOST ORCHIDS
The scientific name is Dendrophylax lindenii is found in primarily in cuba, the bahamas and florida. Ghost orchid plants are also known as white frog orchids due to it frog like shape. Nobody knows exactly where ghost orchid plants grow. The high level of secretive is to protect the plant from poachers who attempt to remove them from their natural environment. The reason why this orchid is referred to as Ghost orchid is because of the fact its flower appears to be suspended in air like ghost. It is rare species of orchids because it is very difficult to cultivate in home conditions. It is difficult to identify this orchid even in its natural habitat because their roots grow on the branches of trees. The roots perform the functions of photosynthesis and they also help to absorb moisture for the plant. Ghost orchid produces soap like smell when it is blooming.
CHOCOLATE COSMOS
Chocolate cosmos flowers are dark reddish brown, almost black, and have chocolate scent. They are relatively easy to grow, make wonderful cut flowers and attract butterflies. JADE VINE
The pale grreen follage consists of three leaflets. The claw-shaped flowers ar carried in pendent trusses or pseudoracemes of 75 or more flowers and can reach as much as 3 m long. The turquiose flower color is similar to some forms of the minerals turquoise and jade, varying from blue-green to mint green. The short, oblong, fleshy seedpods are up tp 15 cm long and contain up to 12 seeds.

The seedpods of jade vines can be as long as 15cm and are produced once the flowers are pollinated, typically by bats, and the pods can contains as many as twelve seeds. Jade vines have historically been difficult to pollinate outside of their natural habitat, however in 1995, a successful technique was first used, that effectively mimicked bat pollination. Jade vines grow best in sun or some shade, with its flowers blooming during the late winter months to early spring.
YOUTAN POLUO
