Rats are so misunderstood and unfairly maligned. This is Bella, one of the first pet rats we got. She was the sweetest little thing. Constantly licking us and loving to be held. She would spend hours on my daughter's shoulder. Sadly, she barely lived nine months before pneumonia claimed her precious little life in December 2014. We still miss her.
