Everything is fake. Everything is fake? Where do you find truth and/or reality these days? Trust is difficult to find.
News is fake. Markets are fake. Boobs and hair color have been fake for most women on television for many years. The reality is everything we see and hear has been artificially manipulated before we see or hear it.
Why?
Most people don’t want to know what is real. We would rather see smooth skin and a polished presentation. Even looking in the mirror loses sizzle after about 18 years.
I suppose a few lucky people appreciate reality in themselves, but most of us don’t like what we have become. Regardless of appearances, we are all flawed.
If Steemit required visual truth in appearance, none would participate. Most of us hide behind carefully chosen written words. Only by doing this can we interact.
Politicians lie because people would never vote for the truth. Soldiers would not fight for any cause. Teachers would not present themselves as authoritative.
We deceive our children when we send them to school and expect them to naturally learn the truth. Everything is fake.
Reality is... fake. Philosophy and most of what we believe is not absolutely true. True love is a nice theory unless you observe a lifetime of experience: enough time to observe and appreciate long term reality.
To present honest reality to others is not a good plan. Comb your artificially colored hair.
