Duolingo is a really really popular language learning app on which you can learn spanish, french, arabic and many more languages. It's like playing a game but also learning new words and sentence building, completely free, while there is a premium subscription for the app to see no ads(which are basically a photo that you can skip as soon as it appears), it is however not completely necessary to learn anything.
I've been using duolingo for a long time now to learn spanish and while I'm not completely perfect at it but it has helped me understand many basic and important words/grammar of spanish.
Today is the 115th day of me completing my assignments on duolingo clap clap clap 😌.
I know a total of 300+ words in spanish now.👏
Well for you guys it might not necesarily take 115+ days to learn the same amount of words as me, because you can do a lot of excercises everyday and just the days don't define how much you have learned.
It is just a way to tell you how many days have you been completing you goal, which for me is 2 exercises per day.
It has helped get a good grasp of the language and the duolingo community and forum are very helpful and answer the questions that might have for the certain language that you're learning.
But what i really liked about Duolingo is that the excercises are small and playfully fun to complete, there are also leagues in which you compete against people on a weekly basis and if you are in the top10 you are promoted to the next league. It is a pretty fun concept and makes you stay interested in learning languages.
If you guys are interested in learning a new language Duolingo might be a good place to start.
You can access it on your browser or you can download its app, whichever you think is best.
