I would have to say turmeric is up there in my top 5 beauty foods. It's incredible properties to reduce inflammation, give your body a boost of antioxidants and promote healing, make it the perfect skin rejuvenation ingredient. I feel like turmeric is one of those things you love or hate. I personally don't enjoy the taste, however, I'm still determined to integrate it into my diet and reap the awesome benefits.
I've found two ways that I love to include it, and that is grating it and frying it up with my vegetables OR turmeric lattes. Oh my gosh it is absolutely delicious and leaves my body and skin looking and feeling radiant. You can make your own at home by mixing up organic turmeric powder (or finely grated fresh turmeric preferably), cinnamon, coconut oil, ginger, raw honey and warm frothy coconut milk.
