On November 19, 2017, a week after his 83rd birthday, Charles Miles Manson died of natural causes at the hospital. He was the American cult leader of the murderous California-based cult, Manson Family, birthed in the late 1960s. Acting under the guidance of Manson, his followers were responsible for committing a series of murders and assaults; the most notorious series of killings involved director Roman Polanski's wife actress Sharon Tate.
His influence is undoubtedly imprinted into the history of American pop culture -- fashion, graphics, music, movies, and television. Manson was also a talented songwriter and musician.
"Unplugged 9.11.67 Volume 1" is a studio demo performed by Manson and recorded at Universal Studios in Hollywood. This recording was recorded two years prior to the Tate murders and released years later in the mid-1990s.
