If there is any color that is probably the king of all candy colors and one that is all over the world in all kinds of shapes and sizes and forms, it would have to be red!!! The color red is one that science has been trying to perfect for a long time with all kinds of food colorings created to best reflect it in our foods, and I think there is something about the color red that excites our eyes and minds and attracts us instantly to things. Maybe it is from our love of flowers in the wild world and how those colors have evolved with our brains for us to percieve the most vibrant and pretty ones, which has now transferred into foods and in particular candies!!!!
