Last Wednesday (06/09/2017) was the maiden edition of ask me anything about steemit Wednesday (AMAWED) organized by my first steemit project, Hive account@redfishpillar.

Ask Me Anything About Steemit Wednesday (AMAWED)

When I introduced AMAWED, after it's conception, on @redfishpillar's blog, I didn't know that it was going to be huge. A specific time for the program was set to begin on Wednesday during coffee break from 10:30 to 11:30 am (Central European Time, CET). That time was set as the peak time for responding to the questions that newbies might pose. Guess what happened? I sat and was responding to questions for hours. It was quite an interesting session, because newbies had the opportunity to pose lot of questions that were on their minds. Personally , I learnt a lot from that interactive session.

What was even more profound about the AMAWED session was the fact that Hive account@surpassinggoogle came to my aid to respond to very many questions as evidenced in the comments section of the AMAWED post. That was just fantastic! In fact, the way he responded to the numerous questions, with his wealth of experience, as a veteran Steemian, was just amazing. One of his responses to a question posed is shared below

It is free. Don't pursue it. Draw it in. Shake steemit, influence it with you, you vision, your presence, your substance, the spanlessness of your mind. It is like real life. If you are girl, catwalk that walk and halt the room, cos you walked in and your presence filled it. So pace thing, mine with your mind, grow in your substance and shine. financial earning will meet you half way. If you had a vision before steemit, play it out on the blockchain! you have mirrors in the form of reputable great minds, feed off of their feedback and keep building that dream or keep your dreams alive in dream-bits and rehearse them till fruition. This is life!

Hone your expertise, while playing a role in potential history by helping other steemians bring their dreams into fruition. make connections, build the impossible, innovate. You didn't have an enabling environment? Now you have one in steem. I just gave you one million. Read between the lines. Apply foresight and you will see these things. There is no competition if your vision is staunch cos you will be above the competition.

You wrote the post that i was going to write, but you did it in your own way! I have been having these exact same thoughts about being an owner and acting like an owner! It is only recently that I transformed! And I think no one understands why we all need to do this! We have the future of humanity sitting in our collective hands, and we have FINALLY been given the tools FOR FREE. It's up to us to evolve enough to use them properly! So each of us needs to step it up! Get better, and create better mental sofas for others to relax on!
