My Christmas tree.

The tradition of decorating the Christmas tree is known from Celtic legends. The ancient Slavs instead of a Christmas tree dressed up an oak or birch.
In Europe, the tradition of celebrating the New Year with a green beauty began in Germany with the ancient German legend of trees that flourish magnificently during the winter cold. Soon, the decoration of Christmas trees became fashionable and spread in many countries of the Old World. In order to avoid massive deforestation, in the XIX century in Germany began to produce artificial spruce.
