Yesterday we were headed up to Red River, NM to help a friend and decided to stop by the Fawn Lakes Campground. I'd never been there and Nate hadn't been in years. It's one of the prettiest campgrounds in the Red River area, but it's only open in the summer months (it was closed today but the hiking trails are still open year-round). It was a little chilly, but who doesn't love falling leaves and fall colors?
