I was always fascinated by marine life, the ocean and the living world that many people don't see everyday. There is a lot of work that one needs to put in to be able to successfully run a reef tank. Making sure all water parameters are correct, temperature and regular maintenance.
If you look at your tank everyday you don't really notice the coral growth as corals grow very slowly. So I thought why not see how they grow and I cam up with an idea to do just that.
I am sharing a project I made a few years back where I setup a DSL camera on a tripod pointed directly at my reef aquarium. I connected the DSLR camera to a computer and setup it up to take a photo of the tank everyday at the same time for two years.
Once all the photos were collected, I compiled them together and crated this video.
