Hello everyone, it is the first time I have joined a contest on Hive. I was confused that which topic I should write about. Then I found some photos of my hometown taken few months ago, then I came to share about it.
Huế city, my hometown, is always famous for the ancient sightseeings and historical monuments. Maybe it is the reason why visitors who come here will often feel nostalgic or miss something vague. And I do too. I maybe get familiar with the slow-speed lifestyle and the silence of Huế so when there are something changing or too bright colors or dynamic events happening in my hometown, I immediately feel strange and suprised. My emotion comes clearly when I spend time staying to see our famous bridge - Trường Tiền. Each hue of the bridge changes, my mood also changes along with it. Although it is very beautiful when looking at the bridge in the evening, I still don't feel uncomfortable with colorful scenes.
It might comes from my love to the original color of the bridge - bright grey. It makes me calm, feel peaceful inside and embraced softly. Or Maybe I am nostalgia...
Or maybe I'm also afraid to see the traditional values, the legacies that may be lost due to industrialization which is making huge changes that we sometimes can't catch up with.
I wish although time goes by, traditional values will last forever.
Thanks for the very nice contest. I am glad to contribute a little feeling to Hive community.
Have a nice day all.
Love you,
Thao Vy
