Refugees are ordinary people forced to flee war, violence and persecution in their home countries and remain in urgent need of life-saving assistance and protection.
Many Latvians have family members who fled their homes during WW2. But many have forgotten it. It is worth remembering that we can easily become refugees today. So let's help those who are in need while we can.
