I am not sure how old you are, but I believe this quote is so true. You can do some quick research in your own life to find out whether this is reality or not. Depending on how old you are, this is going to be an interesting test. I believe everyone 35 years or older will be able to understand this quite well.
Think back at the time when you were 25... what do you regret?
If you think back at the time when you were 25 years old. What comes to you mind? Do you think about lots of things that you regret doing? Of course, maybe you lived a life just packed with alcohol, smoking, and drugs... that is something you for sure regret.
There are all sorts regrets... in fact, as I write this article, I also think about the fact that many people might regret not standing up for things.
Maybe you are in a relationship that is unhealthy, and maybe you have been for a long time. Now, 10 years later, you are sorry that you didn't stand up for yourself and that you didn't end the relationship. Maybe you are sorry that you didn't say I am sorry to someone that you hurted, and now it is too late!
There are so many things that we can be sorry about and regret. That is why I would like to encourage myself and everyone who might be reading this text to act today, instead of regretting in years from now.
We already know the answer to the lesson.
As you have already seen, most of us do not regret or feel disappointed by the things we have done. Maybe we were disappointed by our travel to a city or disappointed by a meal we had in a restaurant. But, we don't regret and feel sorry about it 10 years later. It is much more likely that you regret NOT EATING in a certain restaurant, or NOT visiting a certain city.
In other words, take action and rather act and feel sorry, than to sit quiet and not do a thing!
