Today is Father's Day in the United States. I'm fortunate that my father is still here on this earth. He turned 86 earlier this year.
He has had the same wife for 64 years and raised five children. He has 10 living grandchildren (plus three in heaven) and two great-grandchildren.
Thank you, Dad, for being a real man in staying with my mother and raising your children to be productive citizens.
This is a picture I took of my dad on a Walt Disney World trip with us. He decided to give my children a laugh, so he let the very weird "character" at the Disney Studios give him a great big kiss (she was looking for all the older men). The children loved it and he wore that "kiss" most of the day. Several other men had the same "kiss." Even though it's a picture more than 15 years old, it captures his sense of humor now days.
