Christ means "God's Anointed one" or "God's Chosen one". This is how God has always communicated with humankind, He had chosen one from among us to be his messenger. Thus, Christ is God's anointed messenger, God's chosen messenger for the time. This is what I am. God has given me a message for all the people of the world to hear. Therefore I am Christ.
I am confirming that God's previous prophets have spoken truthfully. God has been sending us messengers for thousands of years. He spoke to Abraham and led him to the promised Land. He spoke to Moses and gave him the law. He spoke to the prophets of Israel and warned them of the final day. He spoke to Jesus and gave him the Gospel of Peace. He spoke to Muhammad and gave him the holy Qur'an. God spoke to all of them, and now he has spoken to me as well.
