I was listening to an interview of Jordan Peterson, where he defends his position of belief, I for one thing that the fact that there is something called apologetics speaks volumes, so I was kind of hesitant when he started to speak up. That being said out of the arguments I've heard over the years he made the most sense, at least to me.
I might not do his position justice, but I suspect you would appreciate the video in question. I would encourage anyone who cares about this subject to listen to the podcast he did with Joe Rogan, but in essence he describes Biblical stories as archetypes of ideological goals, a bit like the attempts of laying a moral foundation for what would be the beginnings of civility. In his stance he admits his belief has no evidence in itself, and I can respect his honesty, but in this framework he justifies the existence of the bible.
Again, I find it refreshingly honest...
