I think there is a historical argument for the resurrection of Jesus. I think that death or coping with death actually has very little to do with Christianity. This is the point my post is attempting to make. That Christianity has devolved into an escape theology (aka rapture, heaven, visions) when really it is about living in this life and ultimately the world to come. Many people have internalized the resurrection of Jesus as proof of Heaven and that is their big takeaway. I think that needs to be corrected in the Christian worldview.
