We all have different perspectives and life choices. I believe their is no 'should do' or 'should not do' type of rules when it comes to believe on religion. Coz there are thousands of religions, you can not even name them all. So what you believe or should believe is not necessary for a greater perspective.Â
I respect all of them who choose to believe on religion and who do not care about it. We all follows some basic rules in our life as a human being like not hurting others and showing empathy to the poor etc. But there is always an exception.Â
You can find thousand of good human who does not care or practice religion, and on the other hand you can find thousand of humans who practice religion but are not very pure by heart. So 'to be a good human' it does not need to believe in religion I think.
But as most of the religions are ancients so they evaluated many beliefs which is a great lessons for human life. We can not ignore that. So believing and practicing can help anyone to be in the right path. I also can add that, to find the 'inner peace' and a 'meaning of life' it is necessary to believe on something. And religion would be the best choices.Â
As there are no institutional education to train to be a good human other than society or religious beliefs, so choosing to believe in religion seems much more meaningful to me. But yes, there is no 'should' if you choose to not believe. But I would prefer to believe on something which gives me spirituality, helps to be a good human and peace for my soul.Â
