We renovated our master bath in our home this year. I wanted to share some expenses and pictures with my Steemit family. If anyone is considering a remodel, let me know for any suggestions about ours. We did splurge on a Moen shower system with 4 body jets and 2 heads. Its 5'x4' and is large enough for 2 to never need extra elbow room.
The cabinets were prefab solid birch. We used the arctic ledgerstone which gave an extra sparkle to the vanity

We were very price conscious on this project. We could have easily spent double what we did. We also relocated our toilet and eliminated our water closet.
It was an expensive and stressful project but we are glad to have done it. We did as much as we could ourselves to save on labor. We still had to hire for plumbing, electrician, glass, tile, and drywall. We did most of the demo, trim, cabinets, and cleanup ourselves.
I think the best investment was the heated floor under the tile. Even in the summer, the tile is still cold without heated element. We went with Thermosoft radiant heat and couldn't be happier. Just be careful not to cut the wire during install.
Thanks for checking out our project. We enjoy it everyday.
Steem on. Upvotes and follows will be reciprocated!
