I mean, look at this pic! I'll even give him the benefit of the doubt that he's using a Mac 💻 instead of a PC.. the guy looks like he's living the dream. After looking at his page, it looks like he's some kind of pro snowboarder 🏂 . If only I didn't hate the cold...
Anyway, I remember looking at pics like these back when I was still a wage slave in a 1st world 🌍 country. I would fantasize that SOMEDAY I'd be able to work from my laptop in some tropical paradise.
While I'm still not on the pro-snowboarder-hot-girl-in-bikini-fiji-water-pool level 💵 (yet), I have at least taken the first few steps on my journey.
And you know what? It's not the magical 🧙♂️ experience I thought it would be. Yes, I can work from my laptop anywhere in the world.
But it's still work. I still have to wake up at 6 AM, crank out a bunch of articles, email with clients, manage social media pages, take a shitload of pictures 📸 EVERY DAY.
There's no 5 day workweek here. It's 24/7.
Don't get me wrong, I still love it. I love that I can put my computer away, walk for 10 minutes and be at a beautiful beach 🏖 full of Russian hotties in thong bikinis.
But it's not the easy, carefree life I thought it would be. If anything I work MORE 💪 than I did when I was a wage slave.
Pictures like these though... god bless this guy. Without pics like these 🏆 I never would have had the motivation to do what I'm doing.
Now I just need to get that Gatorade sponsorship...
