2019 is going be a busy year. Some things I’ve already started this week or have been working on in 2018. While this won’t be super detailed in how I plan to approach these things unless it's more around Steem. All other stuff might just be my general thoughts and reasons behind it or where ever my mind wanders. I already have internal documents and plans far more detailed than this. Not stuff I plan to share at this point in time publicly. Having this on the blockchain to remind me every time I end up scrolling past it. It just nice to have for whatever motivation it will be giving me.
Read More Books
While I do a lot of reading from blogs, articles, and other sources of materials. This has been something in 2018 that I have fallen behind on. I just getting close to finished 1 physical book for the entire year. The only reasons for doing so is because I did not want to go without finishing the Electronic Universe. I picked it up at least six months ago. I kept saying I wanted to read it, id read a couple of pages. Then I just got busy.
I need to make more time for just myself. That will be putting at least an hour every week into reading something. Not wanting to turn it into something more time consuming than that I doubt I’ll be posting my thoughts on any books or anything in that regards. That is just something for me personally to enjoy.
--1 hour a week to myself with all electronics turned off
Growing Plants
In 2018 I started my own small little garden. I had a few pepper plants, tomatoes and a few seeds for things like parsley. I want to keep doing this and try and expand it with the budget I’ve already set aside.
It won’t be anything massive as there not much space to grow a garden in. With me making some basic investments in 2018 into materials like containers, shovel, seeds, and other stuff. This is something I want to see at least get a little bigger.
I really enjoyed having fresh peppers and I really would love to add some spicy this year to the mix. I have a rack of dry spices and I know they are not that great. Many of the heavily used ones are also have empty like parsley, thyme, sage, and rosemary. Might not be able to grow all those things but that is something I’ll keep a look out for when I do my shopping in early spring.

Test Out More Dapps
I’ve never been big on using Dapps or just other stuff on Steemit. Towards the end of the year in 2018, I gave Steem Hunt a little try. I also tried some live streaming during the year but I ’m just not a very talkative person. My biggest use of an app if you could call it that this year was Steem Monsters.
It is always good to be trying new things in life. I know I can easily become set in my ways and not want to venture out of them. Even more so when I’m struggling for a time as it is. It is easy to come up with excuses of why not to do something new.
Post and comment more on Steem Hunt. I made one post the other week and have left some comments. This might just be something I enjoy the comment side of things on. It also forces me to think about how I want the word and displace information in such a short format manner. With so many people using apps to access steem from their cell phones. I can see shorter content benefiting from the change in user habits.
Look into Dtube more. I use to have a YouTube channel oh so many years ago. Long ago I also deleted every video on that channel for the reason I won’t be getting into. This I suspect will have some cost of finding rendering software and purchasing some hardware as well to accomplish this. Won’t be something I’ll be thinking too much at the start of 2019.
Try out steempeak for a few months. Many have been trying to talk me into giving it a chance for a while now. I have just been set in my ways for a while now. No matter when things break as they tend to do using Steemit’s front end site. Won’t be right away in Q1 as I really have too much stuff starting up. I need what I'm used to for the moment.

Spend Less Time Around Steem
Yep, I spend way too much time on a few different things. I don’t know how I spend so much time regarding this platform but I do. Less needs to be more and I’ve taken some steps to try and reduce my time as it is.
Remove stuff that just not working on.
Being ok when something does not get done that day/night. I should not be up to 3, 5, or even 7 am every day trying to get stuff done. It is one thing if I was pulling in insane amounts of money a few times my cost of living. I'm not even close to my cost of living so this just makes zero sense.
I’ve already removed a bunch of discords I’m no longer active in. I have a few more I’ll be removing this week. I just don’t need them all. I know in most places only one or two people tend to read and support stuff. The masses just dump their content where ever they can while making a minimal effort to try and get support. That just not how I want to grow my blog. I prefer quality engagement over just spamming and hoping for some random shot in the dark.
-- Remove and reduce what is not working
-- Spend less time engaging then I was in the start to middle of 2018
-- Spend less time on discord
-- Being ok getting something out a few days later then I like
-- Not taking on to many more responsibilities
-- Being more proficient at things like curating
Increased My Social Media Reach
Outside of steemit, I’m more or less nowhere active. I’ve never been big on using social media. If I really want to grow on my audience I need to be in the driver seat of doing that. Steemit is just not a great way to even find content; heck, I use third-party sites and tools to find content on Steemit.
So I’ll be exploring other options form twitter to if I can make the budget for it my own site. I have a more detailed plan for this in another document that I’ll be keeping for internal use only.
-- Twitter
-- Maybe my own website
-- Focus on only a couple of communities
-- Other Sites
Increase Revue Sources
For a few of these, I’m not really going into great detail as I’m not really interested in sharing the bigger picture. This is one of them.
I use to have a few different sources of income. Most of them are coming to an end or will no longer be worthwhile pursuing in 2019. I had many go this route as well in 2018.
Many of this stuff covers more of my in real life change I’m making to try and stay ahead. So I’m not really spilling the details on this section. You might notice some changes here over time.
-- Referrals
-- Staring a new business
-- Spending more time on what is working and reduce what is not
-- Make further investments into my future
-- More monetizing options
GET SHIT DONE
Many are all just all talk on the blockchain and in real life as well. That has always driven me crazy. They just want to talk and talk. Pat themselves on the back and talk some more. Have another meeting about having another meeting. Stuff just does not get done.
They say they will do x, y, or z and then I’m up having to make more time for something that I just don’t have time for in the first place. I just want to do shit and I’m not being patient anymore. This ties in with many of the other stuff in this post.

At Least 10 Full Game Reviews
I did not create as many as I thought I would in 2018. They are very time consume as I tend to play a game to great detail to the end if I can before I start writing a review on it. These reviews can get rather long as well and I love to fill them with screenshots, details and so on.
I have other stuff going on in real life as well so I just can’t bang out 60+ hours of time into a single blog post every week. I’ve made changes to be more of a daily content creator along with a bunch of other stuff in 2018. That has more than taken away from my joy of creating one of these once in a while.
I have a few games I never got around to finishing got writing about in 2018. Along with creating content for in a daily format but not closing out with a full-blown review at the end. I have a few games in mind already and many more I hope will be coming out in 2019. I’ll be keeping my internal list to myself. The last thing I won't be doing is giving people ideas of what they should go review before I get around to it. Since I play the game for a while before trying to make a review.
-- At least 1 full review per month starting in January
-- Still creating quality but spending less time to do it
-- Finish old games
-- Finish unfished somewhat created content
4 Posts Per Week
In 2018 my goal was just 4 posts a week. I’ve had many weeks where I even had 7 or even more on rare occasions. It’s not about struggling to come up with ideas for content. It’s more about having the time to do so. As such I should just be meeting this goal without even trying.
Why not set a harder one? Well, I don’t want to burn out. Times are rather rough right now on this blockchain. I’ve had times throughout the year of 2018 where I struggled to want post. I have other considerations of in real life to consider as well. Steemit will never cover my finical needs with both the price point and amount of steem earned at the same time to make things more possible. It’s a holding game as the higher price goes the less Steem I expect to be earning.

-- Expand on what I’m doing
3k Followers
Right now I’ve been around 1420 give or take a follow or unfollow for a very long time. With how much time and content I’ve created in 2018 and plan to make in 2019 if I’m unable to just naturally grow that number along with having a bigger social imprint. Then really it’s time to look at other options.
This platform seems to have content consuming issues. I see it all the time with how so many amazing contents creates and as amazing as the stuff they create it gets zero engagement, votes, or anything. While I’ll do my part to keep creating content that I see in my owns eyes as amazing, trying out different dapps, having a bigger outreach. Ultimately, since monetization on this platform requires you to not only have an account but vesting shares to reward others with. Without getting more real followers that will be hidden with the inside of the 3k total. It just won’t work out. Most of mine are long gone or in middle of powering down.
I also just don’t have time to spend 40+ hours a week anymore on engagement in comment sections. Despite my engagement dropping a lot towards the end of 2018 sometimes being nonexistent. I still managed to type over 1.8 million characters in comment sections. Major of those people have left Steemit or have not read any content I’ve produced in months. So instead I need to rethink my approach.
-- Spend some time but not too much time in only a couple of discord communities.
-- Try out other platforms on the blockchain
-- Increase social outreach
-- Comment engagement but not going overboard
Starting A Business
I have plans to start another business venture that I’ve been working on in 2018 that I’m hoping to start carrying out into getting clients for by end of Q3 in 2019. It won’t be cryptocurrency related or payment accepted in 2019. Just too much risk and the startup it needs a more solid foundation. Since its focus is local and into physical goods and services. It just does not need anything extra to make anything overly complicated.
As far as what it is. I don’t see much point of talking about it unless we start accepting cryptocurrency. Maybe Steem will be in its future. For now, it does not make sense of how localized it will be focusing on.
Learning Some Coding
I find myself in need of programming more and more these days. Even more so if I want to start accomplishing more in life. Hiring out help and seeing how it’s ended for others with the coders: backdoor, raise the price, failure to deliver, buggy and “final” nonworking product.”
While it’s high in demand skill with a lot of amazing people out there in such fields. It’s also not cheap and filled with a lot of bad and lazy work. This is also part of just getting shit done. I want to do shit and I’m done being reliant on others who disappoint and overcharge. Not to mention seeing the opportunity pass by me and not having the ability to do anything about it.

Final Thoughts
While some of this might seem a bit “generic” that because I’m holding back a lot of information. This is here for me to always find on the blockchain as a reminder to get shit done. 2019 going is going be a very busy year for me. As such I have written this in a certain way to remind myself.
