Rush'n Attack, known as Greet Beret in Japan and Europe, was an arcade game released in 1985 by Konami. This Cold War themed game (Rush'n Attack = Russian Attack, get it? haha...) involved rescuing prisoners from a POW camp.
There have been quite a few home conversions over the years. In 1986, ports were created for the Commodore 64, Atari 8-bit and other 8-bit home computers. In 1987 a Nintendo (NES) version was released. In 1989 DOS and Commodore Plus/4 versions were released.
There have also been several later remakes. A version appears on the Game Boy Advance compilation, Konami Collector's Series: Arcade Advance (I have this one!) and on another compilation for the Nintendo DS called Konami Classics Series: Arcade Hits. The original arcade version was released on Xbox Live Arcade for the Xbox 360. Both the original was available and a remake with improved graphics and sound.
