Why you should watch it
Dark is a new german tv series that came out on netflix. This is actually the first german tv series streamed internationally. I don't want to spoil anything for those who didn't watch this so I'll only write the short summary from imdb : A family saga with a supernatural twist, set in a German town, where the disappearance of two young children exposes the relationships among four families. Don't let the german theme put you off it , you really get used to it and it becomes a must have part of the series.
The series starts slowly with a disappearance of a young boy, some family drama, but you quickly start to see there is something much darker and sinister behind it all and it will get really interesting as you begin to connect each character and their place in the story. The story itself is portrayed spectaculary and gets more and more exciting each episode you will see everything happens for a reason here and get answers to the mysteries surrounding the town. I'm telling you if you like supernatural , crime and mysteries this is a must watch tv show for you.
Future potential
The season ended satisfactory opening the curtain for a second season respecfully. And personally I can see this show going in many directions from that and still staying true to its dark narrative and mystery.
Now I didn't give you many details about the plot of the show as you can see and that's because it would just spoil the surprise for you. I wanted for anyone reading this post and hearing about this show to watch it and find everything out yourself, as it's much better watching it like that.
