Not much of a review if the title gives away the final impression, right? Let's take a look at coffee and imitation LEGO!
It seems blind bags are in now at the Dollar Tree. The fine print on the back says the MEGA and Construx brands are used under license from Mattel. When I was a kid, Construx were nothing like LEGO, and Mega Blox were an also-ran that didn't quite live up to LEGO quality.
This, though, is utter garbage. I do not like these bricks. I do not like the design. I do not like the wadded-up instruction sheet. This is not a quality construction toy. The colors are not consistent. The brick bond is good, but the plastic just doesn't feel right.
And on top of all that, the image on the package is a blatant falsehood. That smooth plate over the cab is affixed to the cab brick, and is not part of the dump bed at all.
I also took a huge gamble on Dollar Tree coffee. I don't claim to be a coffee connoisseur, but this is not good coffee. It lacks substance. It is pale and weak. Drinking this can't kick-start a day!
I wasn't expecting much, but I expected more than this. And I don't even think it was that much of a deal. 6 oz. for $1 is not a major discount versus other cheap grocery store options. Don't bother with this lackluster java.
