This is Vietnamese ancient rice thresher machine. It's operated by using a treadle for the first time, then it's upgraded to run on electricity (but still keep that shape). It's very popular from 1990s until the early 2000s. Nowadays, it is totally replaced by the other modern thresher using diesel or gasoline and you can only see it in the museum or in the warehouse's farmers, who want to keep it as a memory. This one is belong to my grandparent 😋
There is traditional Vietnamese conical hat up above which is made from palm-leaf. It's very useful on a sunny day so there are many people in countryside use it daily. 🙂
