China has released its latest government-sponsored rankings of key cryptocurrencies. The ranking was published in a press release dated January 24th. This rankings from China appears at regular intervals and evaluates the various blockchains of Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, EOS and Co. on the basis of various criteria.
EOS takes first place as blockchain, Ethereum is second
In the past, EOS was in controversy. The fact that its governance model reverses a number of confirmed transactions has created doubts within and above all outside the EOS community. Despite all this, his ranking had not hurt.
Second place in the ranking is occupied by Ethereum (ETH). Thus, Ethereum could also maintain its place from the previous year.
Bitcoin and ripple do less well.
Second place in the ranking is occupied by Ethereum (ETH). Thus, Ethereum could also maintain its place from the previous year.
Bitcoin and ripple do less well.
By contrast, Bitcoin (BTC) has been able to climb three places up. However, this information reads better than it is, because last year Bitcoin was only able to hold the 18th place in the ranking. The current position of Bitcoin is ranked 15th.

However, Ripple (XRP) is even worse off with his placement on rank 20.
CCID strives to continuously improve its evaluation model
The CCID explained that its evaluation model is continually being optimized based on the recommendations of the project working group and the expert consultants. The rankings are organized and conducted by the CCID Blockchain Research Institute and a number of organizations such as the CCID Think Tank under the China Electronics and Information Industry Development Institute and the China Software Testing Center.
The valuation model follows three key principles. Firstly: "The indicators should be adapted to all assessed objects, not just some." Second, "The proposed indicators should relate to technological innovations in public chains". Finally, "the measurement or evaluation of the indicators can be carried out".
