Ripple is never going to be crypto-community community choice due to the fact that it is not a cryptocurrency or a platform. It is a micro-transaction micro-transaction protocol for transferring funds amongst banks and their strategy to compete with decentralization philosophy.
When it comes to micro-transactions there is already IOTA that is a lot more sophisticated mechanism and Ethereum is also implementing “sharding” Ethereum Sharding that allows fast micro transactions.
Ripple is centralised and there are “no proof of work” or “proof of stake” for it. The token is completely symbolic and useless!
There is a token supply of 38.5 Billion! and a market cap of 8.5 Billion!
Ripple has all characteristics of market flooding, similar to when large corporoations destroy medium or small business by overwhelming the market with low prices and taking some losses until the smaller businesses are out of the picture as they can’t compete.
They will then they pump up the prices higher than ever as there will be no more competition.
In Crypto currency it wont work out quite the same if people are smart enough as it is not possible to create resources, unless you do the work, irrelevant to how much captial you have s it is not possible to create resources, unless you do the work, irrelevant to how much captial you have.
That is how Bill gates become rich with his profit making rubbish, namely “Microsoft Windows” with never ending “add ons” and updates that got the population dependent on.
He made his money and got out scene deviously righ in time,t in time, before losing to Unix derivatives such as Linux, OSX etc.; that made Microsoft Windows inferiority eventually evident to the public.
Windows is still a big messy operating system that was patched over and over again (still running on old kernel) lacking any revolutionary changes, compared to its main its main rival: Apple’s ’ecreation, ((migrating from OS9 to OSX) that was a fundamental renovation and creative reinvention.
Now there is hardly any back end system that use windows and is mostly the average consumer who is still hooked on it.
Macdonlands, Coca cola, Mars, Micorosft, Facebook are the poison that control the food, drink, snack social media and Operating system consumer products. Ripple will be the Crypto version of it!
“Gates foundation” has now shown interest in Ripple! That is a dead give away of that, especially that “Gate”” is the nemesis name to communities such as “open-source” and “Linux”.
Linux and Open-source communities started the original rebellions against mega- corporation business model being pro small to medium businesses and creative individuals around 1992.
Blockchain technologies are running on such platforms, namely Linux and open-source i.e. Ethereum and by no means are comparable to Ripple.
So one could say Ripple is more on the lines of bank scam or Microsoft Windows version of Crytpo currencies that hopefully will not prevail.
The question is: do we want to make banks and Bill richer and ourselves poorer, or this time they have to bow to our (know your service provider) KNSVP ?
