I still struggle with the concept of these technologies as currencies but Ripple has tremendous upside when it comes to usability. A lot of Blockchain stuff I see attempts to force people to completely adopt something new and that's tough to do. Working with what people are already using seems like a better and quicker pathway to success, at least in the short term.
