Centralized or not ripple is aiming to capture a market that was ready for disruption. In developing countries like mine it takes 30 days to clear a cheque from the US or European countries and 5-8 days to clear a Bank Wire. If it where any other crypto I wouldn't mind but the banks trust Ripple. That therefore makes it an investment to look into. I do agree that one should proceed with a little extra caution though.
