Hello Crypto lovers, and investors!
I'm here to talk about the current news and crypto market speculations and why I decided Ripple coin (XRP) was an excellent investment for me in the long run. Why XRP as my first investment after the bitcoin craze? The answer to that question is simple; XRP is the future in banking technology and consumer technology.
What do I mean by that? Ripple, the company has built up a seamless form of banking transactions that could revolutionize the world and how they think of doing business. Think of it as the Western Unions great-great-grandchild and decided that the "family" business was going to down the drain and wanted to make transactions, faster, cheaper and more cost-effective for both the banks and its users. Again, think of Paypal, instead of 2-3 days, you would get your money in 3-6 seconds!
XRP is not like another coin, in the sense of Bitcoin or Litecoin. XRP is already pre-mined; therefore, the impact that it would have on our natural resources are incredibly minuscule. That, to me is the first indicator if a better future. Also, XRP is a centralized form of cryptocurrency which makes it easier to move around.
Let's say, you're on vacation and it's late, your plane just arrived in Dublin. Your husband is freaking the shit out because he's never driven on the "wrong side of the road" before. You can't help him because you've never experienced the wonders of a stick shift, and you know the city just as well as he does. Once everything calms down, and you've only threatened divorce 90 times you realize that you left your Euros back on your kitchen table. (you hide this fact knowing that the Mr will probably hyperventilate and die on your honeymoon night.) No problem, Ripple technologies is here to help save your vacation and your marriage. You give a quick call to your in-laws and tell them the situation, and since their bank and your different bank use the same platform, you will have your money in seconds. Before he realizes, you go downstairs and withdraw the amount in the lobby ATM because once again the foreign ATM uses Ripple technology. Again, just a scenario and possibly a half-true story.
I know when I was doing my research on this coin I wish I had more real-life examples of how this really could apply to me in the real world. So I hope this helps you a bit.
I'll do more real-life scenarios on more currencies I think will impact the way we do banking, social media and business.
Until then,
