I've been scratching my guitar all-out at the Open Mic Night event. The song Growing Old Disgracefully by Juxta has ended. The bar was deserted. Three drunken men woke up and staggered to find the exit door. Three times they bumped into tables, chairs, and toilet doors before finding the heavy wooden exit door.
I fixed my guitar, my most valuable treasure. I hoped someday I could buy a E17 Pro Acoustic guitar. I also wanted to form a band. I knew Joe the drummer and Smith the keyboard player. Maybe later we needed to do an audition to find a bassist. But, it's easy. What's the difficult one was the path I was taking now. I had to busk on street corners to raise money. When the money I collected was enough, then the dreams could be realized slowly.
Today I was tired after singing for hours in this Rising Star game (). My energy remained 1 percent. I needed at least eight hours again for my strength to recover, close to 100 percent. It was best to sleep. Yes, sleep.
I dozed off. I woke up when the sun was getting high. I missed the chance to play in front of the train station and busy Times Square intersection. People who went to work in the morning were sure to be kind and gave a few bucks. I missed that. Playing in the bar last night drained my energy and it took me a long time to recover. Now my energy was just enough to sing by the side of the road.
I hurried to leave. I just grabbed a loaf of bread that Mama had prepared for breakfast as I ran out. Outside, the winter air was slightly warm. I walked down Park Avenue heading south, downtown.
Some of the buskers I saw were hanging around looking for the right place to play. I was still walking. There was a great spot at the crossroads at City Garden. The police rarely patrolled over there, so it's quite safe for a illegal busker like me to work.
After seeing the situation was safe, I put my hat on the floor and started strumming the guitar. There were several songs that stick to my head, such as Illegal Busking, Growing old Disgracefully by Juxta, Ask Ken by Gribbles, Assimilation by #WinandWoo, and Devil I Mean Amanda by Black Eye Butterfly (). I also played some of my favorite Beatles and Sting songs.
Suddenly a policeman screamed from across the street. He had apparently seen me while patrolling the area. He was waving his club. This was bad. I hurriedly fixed my guitar and took a thousand steps. There was an alley by Park Avenue that would save me. I had to reach that alley if I didn't want to be caught and in jail. I ran as fast as I could. The alley could be seen from a distance. I ran as hard as I could.

Mimpi Menjadi Bintang (Bagian Pertama): Kisahku dalam Rising Star Game di Hive
Source: Pexels, modified
Aku membenahi gitarku, hartaku paling berharga.
Energiku tinggal 1 persen. Aku butuh setidaknya delapan jam lagi agar kekuatanku pulih, mendekati 100 persen. Cara terbaik adalah tidur. Ya, tidur.
Guitars on My Dream
Aku ketiduran.
Ada beberapa lagu yang melekati di kepalaku, seperti Illegal Busking, Growing old Disgracefully by Juxta, Ask Ken by Gribbles, Assimilation by #WinandWoo, dan Devil I Mean Amanda by Black Eye Butterfly ().
Aku berlari sekencang-kencangnya. Gang itu sudah tampak dari kejauhan. Aku berlari sekuat tenaga.
