One of Slash's songs, "Anastasia" tells of wanting to fight with the protagonist's inner demon. "Don't cry over spilled milk", If the inner demon already makes us do something so bad then we can't hide it. Guilty, Fear, and Anxiety become enemies of our minds. Even in the song, he makes his way to Mexico in order to hide from those who are chasing him, wanting to seek a miracle to save him from his fate. He comes to terms with leaving everything behind as he takes own his guilt. He even gives a sorrowful goodbye to "Anastasia" (Someone he loves), accepting that he has taken life for her honor and blood being stained on his hands.
