Our generation of grandparents and even parents did it and did very well, so Why We should not be able to do it?
Why by eating homemade and all organic is the best choice you can make to your family?
I know, all the pesticides, additives, etc...
So the cure is so simple, buy all unprocessed, organic as possible food and cook everything from scratch.
Trust me is not so difficult. I am single mum, working night shifts as nurse, studying full time psychology and being full time mum to two amazing boys. If I can do it you can as well.
For example preparing this meal took me only few minutes, not including waiting till is ready; this is what I call healthy fast food ( I personally think they made such an obvious misleading mistakes, calling such and unhealthy food - fast food, they should call them fast ticking bomb to your health!!!).
Veggie risotto
- half glass of basmati brown rice,
- 1 shredded organic carrot,
- half glass of green peas,
- half glass of sweetcorn,
- hand full of broccoli chopped very firmly,
- dry leek, parsley and chives,
- 2 spoons of olive oil,
- glass of water,
- salt and pepper for taste.
P.S You can add any veggies you love, but this combination is made of the veggies which my sons loves the most :)
Do you know what I love the most about this meal, it is such a happy looking and deliciously tasting very simple and superb quick meal :)
Poor water into the pan, allow to boil add dry leek, parsley and chives, add rinsed rice, allow to boil, add olive oil and vegetable and put lid on and wait 10 minutes till veggies and rice and tender or aldente. I stir few times, and when ready I switch off the heat and leave under the lid for few minutes. Add salt pepper for taste.
And here it is ready to eat delicious dish. It is so quick and healthy. You know what you eat :)
