he's the second longest river in Asia, after the Yangtze River, and the sixth longest river system inside the international at the estimated period of 5,464 km (3,395 mi).[1] Originating in the Bayan Har Mountains in Qinghai province of Western China, it flows through 9 provinces, and it empties into the Bohai Sea close to the town of Dongying in Shandong province. The Yellow River basin has an east–west extent of about 1,900 kilometers (1,a hundred and eighty mi) and a north–south extent of about 1,one hundred km (680 mi). Its general drainage vicinity is set 752,546 rectangular kilometers (290,560 squaremi)
Its basin was the birthplace of ancient chinese language civilization, and it was the maximum wealthy location in early chinese history. There are frequent devastating floods and course modifications produced via the persistent elevation of the river mattress, sometimes above the extent of its surrounding farm fields.
