You'll find it everywhere. In all colors, shapes, sizes, characters. Generally speaking though, it is far from my favorite stone. It just....lack major je ne sais quoi. Character? Personality? Richness? Flash?
Can't put my finger on it. But I will say the crystal form of Magnesite is much more impressive then after it's been dyed and manipulated.

Now you're talking! That's something I can really appreciate!
But I do use it on occasion in my jewelry making. It can be a great accent piece, and I find some of the blues and greens pretty.

And it would seem it proves to be abundantly popular. Particularly when it comes to colors and use as skulls in jewelry design.

Once again, not one of my favorite forms for it, but in general the mineral is a very affordable product and proves popular with various audiences.
I just don't get why I don't see it in crystal form more often, and just like agate and other stones, color could be added I'm sure.
Maybe it's just not cost effective, and the material has proven to also be a very popular alternative to turquoise of which is becoming scarce despite being even more popular than ever. Which fake magnesite turquoise is another I don't really care for......sigh
I guess I'm just gonna have to start looking to see if I can't find it somewhere in the crystal form. Oy! A new mission. My work is never done! (I'm really not complaining!) 😉
