Once upon a time….
I will tell you a story. Is the story of the River, with capital letter. Tevere is its name and I will describe it as a person, calling it simply Tevere.

Tevere was the cradle of Rome. It’s told that the two founders of Rome, Romolo and Remo, were delivered by a she-wolfe on the Tevere shore and you can believe to this tale. Be enough to give a brief view to a map: seven nice hills and a golden river. An amazing place to stay and establish your family.
You can find a huge amount of books and literature on the history of Tevere, but I don’t want to bore you with details of the roman history, both ancient and contemporary.
According to my style, I will give you few suggestions to enjoy the river, even though would be hard for you to find a boat to sail along their shores. But you can walk or run following the right side (the left one is more wild and neglected) and carrying with you a camera or a good cell phone.
