Bayern Munich defender Jerome Boateng hailed his next opponent, Cristiano Ronaldo, the Real Madrid striker.
"He has two feet, his head, everything he has in front of the goal, looks like a machine," Boating told German magazine Kicker on Monday.
"There is no more complete striker than Cristiano Ronaldo. You can not guarantee the match completely," he said. "He is always able to get chances, he has a great sense of penetration and always has a special timing."
"I have positive and negative experiences with him. We won them with Germany 4-0 in the 2014 World Cup, with Real Madrid we managed to eliminate them once, but they have eliminated us twice."
The German believes that despite the seriousness of Ronaldo, Bayern should not focus too much on the Portuguese player. "Getting him out of the game means Real Madrid lose 50% of his strength, but there are other players who are very good," he said.
