Many things remain a mystery in this earth. Even that scientists also cannot explain it. In India, Roopkund lake is one of the mysteries spot.Now I am going to tell about Roopkund lake (skeleton lake).

Roopkund lake is also known as a Skeleton Lake.Roopkund Lake is situated between the Himalayan Mountains in Uttarakhand State. It is 16,499 feet above the sea level. 600 skeletons are found in that lake. that is why it is known as skeleton lake. Here some skeletons are large and some skeletons are small in found in that lake. That area is fully unpolluted area and covered with snow. few dead bodies were well preserved without decomposing. Scientists test that the dead bodies to know; are from which region they came from. Scientists said that they all came from different regions. They all died in a big hailstorm. some scientists are tested their bones and their report is shorter peoples are labourers from Tibet and taller group are believed to be from Maharashtra and from
Madhya Pradesh in India.

During that hailstorm, they face their large size of snowballs like cricket ball size. They died due to a fatal blow on the back their heads. that skull shows a deep crack in their head. Every year in this region due to heavy snowfall half of this year is frozen. Nobody knows about them for many years. No evidence about the route of Tibet. The mystery of Roopkund Lake is still to be unsolved.
