Even though has suspended his #runforsteem project, I’m going to post tonight’s trail run for the fun of it. It was 95 degrees Fahrenheit and probably close to 95 percent humidity, but I’ve been itching to get out for a run after 3 weeks of hamstring recovery while hiking. It was about 90 minutes before sunset, and there were some nice rays peeking through the trees during my run.
The footbridge in the shot above was damaged in the recent flooding and is being rebuilt.
The flood completely changed the floor of the stream, moving rocks and creating piles of logs and debris.
It was a slow pace as a result of the muddy trails and walking up the steepest hill, but it was nice to be out running again.
