One would assume that a holiday as important as Christmas would mean that we wouldn't have a Hash run on such a beloved holiday. Screw all that nonsense. We did a run and although our numbers were less than awesome, it still worked out in the end.
Not a whole lot of santa regalia this year but that doesn't really matter to us. We are silly enough as it is. One would assume that the kids would be complaining about coming out for this but this group is a Hash Family and as far as we could tell there wasn't a lot of whinging.
There were plenty of hills, as expected, and we had the first run back for a few of our members who have been trapped outside of Thailand due to Covid for over a year. Welcome back to "Prison Bitch" and "Discharge!"
maybe use a flash next time?
While a lot of our friends and family around the world are cozying up next to a fire, perhaps complete with a snowy and cold exterior outside the home, we were sweating our bollocks off in the jungle hills of Chiang Mai. I know which one of these things I would rather be facing and it isn't the fireplace.
So from all of us at the Chiang Mai Hash House Harriers to all other Hashers around the world... Merry Christmas! The next milestone will be the fact that January 1st falls on a Hash run day as well. Let's see how many true troopers we have in our ranks! If you would like to join us or want more information, please visit our official website...
