Who's up for a challenge?
I will be doing another challenge to get fit for the trailrunning season and to improve my uphill running. I will try to increase my uphill training load each week. Starting with 3000 vertical meters, if I make my goal for the week I will be increasing the vertical meters by 1000 for the next week. If I don't make it I will decrease it by 500. My ultimate goal would be to reach 10000 vertical meters a week (maybe a bit too ambitious ๐)
Is anybody in for the challenge? ๐
I will count my run from yesterday towards the goal for this week, which makes 520 vertical meters.
Today I did a solid 26.53 km run with 1235 vertical meters. This already makes a total of 1755 vertical meters for this week ๐
It was a bit cloudy today, but very warm - the perfect weather for running. Because it is so warm right now, the snow has almost melted until 1000 m of elevation:
I went on two peak today, first the "Juffinger Jรถchl (1181 m)" - number 2 on the map - and afterwards the "Mรถslalm (1109 m)" - number 3 on the map. If you already follow me for longer you probably have heard of them before ๐ Here are the details of the run:
