So I did three short runs this week, on account of having kept up with my circuit training and doing a bit more work than I'm used to on the allotment.
Really I was happy to just get them in and hold the line this week, rather than feeling tired all the time with all my other activities I was happy to go a bit easier with the running. At my age it's just easier to take it easy some weeks!
Tuesday's Run - slow ish
Historically this would be my fast run, but NOT today!
i just set out at an easy 5.30 ish pace and carried on, I did up things slightly at the end!
Thursday's Run - a bit faster!
This was a bit closer to my normal pace, but still relatively slow for me as I wanted to take it easy-ish, but a bit more like it - almost a 5K/MIN pace!
This also ended up being a HENCH walking day with a massive 23K steps clocked up, just here and about really!
Sunday's Run - a slow not long run!
I had a big allotment day planned today so I wasn't up for a long morning run, that would have just made my allotment work a tired old misery...
So I took this REALLY slowly - almost dropping down to a 6K a minute pace, but that's just what I felt like today!
And I had a GOOD day on the allotment too!
