It has been a while since my last post about running here. I didn't stop but it is true that I currently run less. I have a problem at one of my toe's nail. It fell 2 or 3 months ago and the new one is still small and might enter my toe (this is not the case but this is the reason why I run less).
However, I still did a test on 2K last Friday to evaluate my running condition. I did the same test in the beginning of March before the start of my 20K training. I want to do a training similar to this one so I need to evaluate myself.
I knew I don't have the same condition since I don't do a lot of exercises these days but this is better than expected.
After a warm-up of 3.5 km and some active stretching, I did 2K as fast as I could. Here is the result:
The real time is actually 7'29", so just 4 more seconds than in March.
The biggest problem this time was that I was really too fast for the first kilometer. I think this is because I don't know my actual condition right now. I did the first K in 3'32" and the second in 3'56". A really big difference!
Now I think the right thing to do is to see a podiatrist before starting a real training with 3 or more sessions a week. And if everything's ok, I might train for a marathon!
