As you may have noticed I have been growing a liking (I can't say love) for plants the past weeks. I have already planted some beautiful flowers in my pots on the balcony but a few days ago while we were at the florist's with , I spotted some cool succulents and cacti and could not resist buying some for the house.
I already had the idea to turn some of our dogfood cans into flower pots. I figured it would be a shame to throw them away in the trash, I'd either recycle them or try and make something useful out of them... and if not useful at least something beautiful.
So I opened some holes at the bottom and dressed them in some twine. Here, have a look:
I used white and brown twine for those and dressed a couple of various sized cans.
Then it was time for my succulents to get in!
Each one found a cozy new home. I just hope they will like it as the last time I had bought a succulent it did not live long. I don't know what I had done wrong. Perhaps it was my dad watering it too often or the soil we used when I moved it into a bigger pot.
Look at my beauties!
They can now decorate my kitchen window. I only hope they don't die like the last one.
Hey you!
Yes, you there reading this post (λέμε τώρα), what's your favorite plant? Can you share a photo in the comments?
Thank you so much for your time!
Until my next post,
Steem on and keep smiling, people!
