On Monday I have planned to exchange Christmas gifts with my students and I prepared a little surprise for them...
A photo booth so we can take holiday photos during our little party!
With a carton crater I took from the super market, some adhesive paper and lots of imagination I turned a piece of rubbish that would end up in a recycling bin into something beautiful that will offer joy to a bunch of kids!
Inside the carton I put some adhesive paper with a wooden print and Cut out holes for the heads. Then, I cut and glued Santa hats made with simple craft paper and cotton.
A pair of Santa boots using the same material...
And since Santa brings all the presents, a couple of Christmas presents went right in there! For the presents I used the carton I cut out to make the head holes. I cut it into rectangles, wrapped in wrapping paper, put some red cord around them and my presents were ready in no time. With my hot glue gun they got into place and filled another piece of the holiday puzzle!
My hot glue gun turned to a piece of nice, green garland right after those boots and presents. I put the garland all around my crater and fixed a few old plastic ornaments. I used a little wire and made small holes in the crater to secure those ornaments and the garland as well. I could not rely on the power of that hot silicon glue to carry all that stuff. A set of battery fairy lights complete the holiday atmosphere (two bad I didn't have colorful ones, but the white ones work decently well).
I can't wait for Monday! I am so excited just at the thought of those little faces shining with excitement once they see our photo booth!!
