Trip to Sacheon:
Fly off to a city filled with attractions
Changseon–Samcheonpo Bridge
Of the great eight attractions of Sacheon,
the Changseon-Samcheonpo Bridge is a bridge that links
Daebang in Sacheon City and Changseon in Namhaegun.
Five bridges connect to Neuk-do Island,
Choyangdo Island, and Mogae-seom Island.
The red arch of the Changseon-Samcheonpo Bridge stands out on
the wide-open blue ocean,
creating a scenery that is so beautiful that it looks like a painting.
As such, it is recorded as one of the “Best 100 Beautiful Roads of
Korea.”
The blue ocean, the red arched bridge,
and the rape flowers blossoming in the spring create a
beautiful scenery of three primary colors harmoniously mixed,
which is not found anywhere else.
One can enjoy the unexplored, beautiful land of Sacheon from
the sky on an ocean cable car that will operate and
ride above Samcheonpo Bridge from April 13 this year.
One can also satiate one’s appetite with fresh live fish
at reasonable prices at the fish market of Samcheonpo
Port nearby the bridge.
Let us enjoy the local specialty foods of Sacheon at Obok Restaurant,
which is famous for its seafood course menu, or Silbi House, famous for
its abundant seafood side dishes.
