Not so long ago I was anchored off Low Bay on the west coast of Barbuda. Many have looked at this image and said, "Wow!" And in one way it is.
It's almost the perfect beach, the ideal anchorage. The pristine, deserted sand stretches for more than three miles to the north, and it's a rare day when you'll see even one other person. I've been fortunate enough to spend many happy times there, and have the place to myself for days on end.
It's good for the soul, a little piece of paradise free of internet, TV, or gizmos of any kind. Just crystal clear water, pink-tinged sand, and perfect solitude.
