This is a long weekend here in Ontario so things were pretty quiet. Not sure if it was all the late night interruptions to my sleep this week, but did a serious sleep in by the standards of since arriving here. The old peepers didn't open up until 9:30! Kept that laid back mode for the rest of the day.
Did some morning hanging out in the cockpit and loving the Bimini. It will definitely have to be recanvased when back in Nova Scotia yet it will certainly get us there. Over coffees continued studying the Radio text book. Thinking of putting in a request to be tested either morning or afternoon on Thursday or Friday next.
Jason had asked what anchors are on the boat so went down and brought up the one from below and stowed in near the anchor compartment so that Chris can give instructions how two anchors at one time can be fastened to the pulpit. Got the weight and types of the anchors and texted it to Jason. There seems to be a 25kg Bruce and a 20kg(?) Fluke (Fortress FX-23).

Then it was back to the cockpit and its cool breezes for more Radio course study. Came in by early afternoon and had a late in the day helping of brown sugar and maple oatmeal and slices of banana. While below checked for my daughter and found her online. We had a nice chat. She is not exploring the housing market until we have the cash in hand so that she doesn't get house fever. Proud of that girl. 😎
Even later in the afternoon things were too hot to not take advantage of more cockpit time. This time continued in on my friend's book "Comet Strike". Almost at the end so expect a review soon.
Had a very mellow day and feel ready for the hectic week on the way. Launch on Wednesday! 🤪
May the wind be at your back!
