I want to believe most people who do this do that because the original/real versions are always more expensive or at times hard to get.
I think the main issue is the system. Assuming education, books and all this media stuffs are accessible and affordable, I'm sure people will desist from pirating and support the original owners.
I don't support piracy.
But then again, people should learn to reference original owners of all this things. Ion know if the case of BBO and I think lucky dube fits, but then there's an issue ongoing about his (BBO) recent song and that of Lucky who claims the sound, lyrics and all are same, with just a little difference. And the original owner claims he wasn't aware, informed or referenced in any way....
